A great older Yamaha acoustic from the early 80's!
In excellent condition. Includes hard case.
This is a beautiful example of the high quality the japanese company "Yamaha" made their instruments with in the 70s and 80s to be able to compete with their competitors from the US and Germany on the international market. Even though it being advertised as an intermediate/semi-pro acoustic in the mid-price range, it plays and sounds at least as good as a modern Martin.
In the mid 80s, there was a global shortage of good instrument wood because of the guitar boom wich happened a few years prior in the asian countrys. Therefore the manufacturers where forced to use the not fully seasoned wood for their instruments. This guitar was built before that shortage, still with the perfectly seasoned and durable spruce and rosewood.
This guitar was made in Taiwan between 1981 and 1985
